This may include travelling together in a funeral procession, having your loved one carried into the service by bearers, choosing meaningful music, hymns or readings, and inviting family and friends to come together to remember, reflect and say goodbye.

The service might take place at a crematorium, church, cemetery or another suitable venue and can be religious or non-religious. Although we call it a traditional funeral, that doesn't mean every funeral has to be the same. There is still plenty of freedom to include personal touches, favourite music, photographs, flowers and memories that reflect the person you are remembering.
